Are You Walking In Kingdom Of Heaven?

Matthew 13:31 Then Jesus taught them another parable. "Heaven's kingdom realm can be compared to a tiny mustard seed that a man takes and plants in his field. Although the smallest of all the seeds, it eventually grows into the greatest of garden plants, becoming a tree for birds to come and build their nest in its branches."

The parable of the mustard seed teach of God's kingdom having a small beginning but growing until its influence permeates and prevail into all the earth.

Behind the Greek word for kingdom in Greek is (basileia) lies the Aramaic term malkut, which Jesus used. Malkut refers primarily not to a geographical area or realm nor to the people inhabiting the realm but, rather, to the activity of the king himself, his exercise of sovereign power.

What does the word Basilia (Kingdom) mean in Greek?

1. Royal power, kingship, dominion, and rule.

a. not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom

b. of the royal power of Jesus as the triumphant Messiah

of the royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in the Messiah's kingdom

2. A kingdom, the territory subject to the rule of a king

3. Used in the N.T. to refer to the reign of the Messiah

Exodus 19:4-6

‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”

In Matthew 5 the beatitudes talks about the Kingdom belonging to mankind. Theirs is the kingdom.

Matthew 5:20 For I tell you, unless your lives are more pure and full of integrity than the religious scholars and the Pharisees you will never experience the realm of heaven’s kingdom.

Matthew 6:9-13

Pray like this:

Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of Your name be center on which our lives turn.

Manifest Your Kingdom realm, and cause Your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled heaven.

We acknowledge You as our Provider of all we need each day.

Forgive us the wrong we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.

Rescue us every time we face tribulation and set us free from evil.

For Your are the King who rules with power and glory forever Amen.

Matthew 6:33 So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s Kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from Him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

God’s Kingdom is here for us to walk in now here on earth. When we walk in His Kingdom it is called Kingdom walking. When we come as a team who joins other teams with no agenda’s it is called Kingdom Teams. Kingdom brings love to others and plants good seeds. (Our words should be planting good seeds).

We have been taught that Kingdom is heaven, something we look forward to when we die. But what are we bringing here on earth, that God looks forward to in us? It is clear His Kingdom manifests here in us. We are to seek Him, imitate Him. We are made in His image, are you seeing yourself in His image?

Are you walking in His image?

Do others see you in His kingdom realm here on earth?

Are you walking in royal power (we are priests)?

Are you walking in dominion here on earth?

Jesus is in us, are we representing Him well?

In Galatians 5: 19-21 The cravings of the self-life are obvious: Sexual immorality, lustful thoughts, pornography, chasing after things instead of God, manipulationg others, hatred of those who get in your way, senseless arguments, resentment when others are favored, temper tantrums, angry quarrels, only thinking of yourself, being in love with your own opinions, being envious of the blessings of others, murder, uncontrolled addictions, wild parties, and all other similar behavior.

Haven't I already warned you that those who use their "freedom" for these things will not inherit the kingdom realm of God!

When we are walking in these sins, we are robbing ourselves of royal power and authority that God wants us to have.

Be intentional in how you walk. Walking in His kingdom changes us.

But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions:

Joy that overflows,

Peace that dubdues,

Patience that endures,

Kindness in action,

A life full of virtue,

Faith that prevails,

Gentleness of heart, and

Strength of spirit.

Now is the time to walk, talk in Kingdom dynamics.

Remember represent Jesus well.
